Last year at the Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists in Louisville, Kentucky, Mrs. Joyce Rogers, widow of the late Adrian Rogers, graciously agreed to pose for a picture with me.
At the 2010 Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists held in Orlando, Florida I had the privilege of gifting my tie to Dr. Ron Herrod, who had admired it earlier. Later in the week, Dr. Herrod was elected as the Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention.
Dr. Roy Fish, standing between me and Dr. Ron Herrod was inducted into the Southern Baptist Evangelists' "Hall of Faith." Dr. Fish was one of my professors when I attended SWBTS and he has continued to mentor me throughout my ministry.
Leading the audience in a hymn is Bro. Leon Westerhouser. Bro. Leon and I have always partnered up for the Crossover events that COSBE participates in each year prior to the SBC.
